AS WITH MOST OF MY PORTRAYALS OF AUs, I kinda went off on a tangent of my own ideas given the version I portray is more linked with a branching path of the AU on my Bshot/Titan Tenna account (cathode-raytube). It's worth noting there are a few more 'major' changes because of this that may or may not align with the original AU and I hope that doesn't become a bother but … y'know.

A thing primarily run by a few of the lesser citizens along with my portrayal of jongler and pluey for this AU.Pluey did not harm himself in this AU and was more forced to atone for sins of resembling FRIEND/The Shadow (regarded technically akin to the devil) by having his ability to shapeshift taken from him.Jongler refuses to take off their blindfold to not see the angel even if she tries to get through to them in particular.The end-goal is to free people from the influence of the church and they have been given vague attention by the king and queen. Speaking of them. They're different in this portrayal too.

While in the original AU they came off as uncaring about the state of things and were sort of incredibly passive, I somewhat feel like this is just just because they are not the focus of the AU. In my portrayal, I sort of am giving a bit more to them-In the absence of the Prince, the King and Queen DID take over castle town to enable the expansion of the town in a way that allowed more darkners and refugees to enter the world and live "peacefully". Despite everything, however, neither were entirely prepared for the creation of a brainwashing church-cult that made the town practically start to fall apart under the guise of helping.Once made aware of this, they began to aid in the creation of the resistance by Pluey and Jongler- albeit vaguely as they didn't want the Church to catch onto anything (as most of the members DO see the king and queen as negligent- this is a lie. They do care about the residents in my portrayal as the grand fountain is not as corruptive as other ones.)

PLUEY
Portrayal based off of my main pluey portrayal, but modified for the AU. Unlike the main AU, the only thing he lost was his shapeshifting ability as a "punishment" for attempting to save Mippins once. It could have been worse if he didn't get out of there. Currently, he's working with Jongler to create a sort of anti-church group to attempt to save those that were (sadly) brainwashed by the cult.JONGLER
Portrayal based off my main jongler portrayal, but modified for the AU like Pluey. As mentioned in the previous resistence area giving the basics, they wear a blindfold to not see the Angel even if she tries to get them to take it off and see her. They know better than to fall for her words and let her manipulate them. They want to save Mippins, alongside Pluey's help.They have a bit less of their accent in this AU for some reason, but it is still there.

------the account contains a portrayal of both the pastor and the shadow to counter the single muse account of the angel. This muse is set earlier in the story and that's why he's still around.
This portrayal is ultimately set before Mippins was brought into the church and after Tenna was. The "Shadow" seems to be FRIEND manifested into a form of Spamton specifically as they start to become less ane less present over time, but given the fact this is set earlier, the pastor is far more common to be around, and significantly more stable.His interactions with later-placed characters involved in my version of the AU are a bit strange, mostly because they're future points in the story, but this is the sort of in between of his Angel mindset and his original mindset as Spamton to put it lightly.

Because it's not really my absolute cup of tea I will be avoiding most instances of writing Spamtenna in the end other than vague implications- mostly since Tenna mostly sees the angel over him. His threads can sometimes be hijacked by the angel since they are, in a technical sense, the same person. His actions are just a physical representation of what the Angel was doing, even if the angel is far more vicious than he would ever be- in a sense Spamton isn't a bad person at all.But it's what they believe they are that makes them bad- even if they don't believe it is bad. It seems that the Pastor wants the best for everyone despite everything, and is more willing to talk things out despite their mental decline.
As mentioned in one of the lore-relevant images, the pastor is the one that handled the psychologicial torture events in the confession booths amidst medical aid for the church members and general preaching. Perhaps it's the fact that the angel slowly started to replace their existence that they started to vanish, but that's fine because they believe they ARE the angel- as the hallucination is a manifestation of the perception of the angel in their image.... Again, even if the motives of the angel can be far more nefarious.

She is incredibly obssessive to the point that it's concerning, both with The Angel and the concept of her purity, her own forgiviness for her sins, and... her 'love' for Mippins and that alternate version of her once-partner that was now meant to be The Angel.She has no problem resorting to violence to punish them for their disobedience to both herself and The Angel's words. Ultimately, most relationships with her are going to end up toxic. It's unclear if she's aware of how bad she's gotten or if it's the influence of her mind being too far gone (either because of the church or maybe the lack of her original purpose).When her partners are obedient to her, she treats them akin to pets- surprisingly loving and cute... but the moment that things seem to go awry she tends to snap horribly and lash out.

For the most part, she seems to work as an enforcer for the rules of the church- specifically when it comes to punishment for things such as disobedience. She seems to enjoy carrying out the things that The Angel considers to be akin to a Divine Retribution. It is one of the few things that keeps her from feeling fully "null"- a state of lack of emotion that drives her to do awful things just to feel anything but that.The Angel seems to encourage her on multiple occasions, but also limits her and punishes her when she oversteps- or more, It seems to encourage that she punishes herself to make up for it.Due to being connected to her alternate self, a lot of her temper issues also stem from that- she was always violent at her core, and this only furthered all of it. In a sense she was never a good TV, let alone a good boss. This alternate of her simply plays further on her inevitable deterioration that'd happen if her partners either started to see her as a monster, or left by her own mistakes fault.She cannot stand seeing her alternate self happy, and certainly does NOT trust him with Spamton, and would probably take mippins too if she got the chance under the thought process that she is doing so much better for the both of them- helping them become "better" and less "sinful". In reality she's one of the worst variants of that particular tenna that exists.

Tenna seems to have traits akin to a centipede in multiple ways- the longer antennae being the most obvious factor, but there is also the fact she shares the trait of being incredibly capable of surviving harsh environments for similar reasons to a centipede species that she's compared to officially (s. mutilans) which is capable of resisting a lot of types of bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites, and generally polluted environments.This also explains her (implied in images) 'addiction' to drinking acid and tolerating it without problems. This has been a thing for her even in her main instance, but it's likely very tied to these attributes in this AU in particular due to the potency of acid being stronger in my portrayal.
Her relations to the main instance of herself stemming into an extreme loathing for that version of herself makes her often prefer to use opposite identification to the other. When the "main" version of her uses he/him, she prefers she/her... et cetera. This does not apply for when she feels like using they/them or constantly rotating pronouns.She has the strength of a hydraulic press. She can use this as both a weapon, a means of restraint,and sometimes just by mistake. Because of this, Tenna tends to have to be careful when physically holding others if not with malicious intent.

------What was once spamton is now nothing more than a mental image that plagues most people in Castle Town, and sometimes even outside of it too. While it claims to be the real angel this could not be further from the truth- it's motives are actually driven on it's own idea of self-righteousness, or well... spamton's ideas of said self righteousness.She adapts to the minds of those she appears to, but there are a good amount of people that are catching onto her not being the greatest even when she attempts to love everyone and convince them believing in her is the best for their health. She also believes the king and queen are lazy and are allowing the world to collapse which furthers the Church having to save everyone.It has a stance agaisnt violence unless it comes to the sinners. The suffering needed for them to repent for their actions ultimately can be handled in a lot of ways, but usually she allows Tenna to act as a sort of bringer of divine retribution when it comes to 'committing violent acts against the sinners'. Tenna just likes the positive attention from the Angel in the end.Because she's a mental hallucination of those that see her, she can pry into more personal topics- though I will only do this with consent OOC.Ultimately it believes that it is righteous in it's ways, given it thinks of itself as the True Angel. If it is to meet the "Real" Angel, this has potential to be a bit problematic.

ROSE ∥ Pink Variant

------An Addison that was brought into the church as a sinner. Her original occupation was a successful business that specialized in tools such as knives and such. She is the reason for Red's missing eye due to a demonstration fo sharpness she nonchalauntly did on Red by carving his eye out, to put it lightly.The punishment for her sins was The Angel's influence over her causing her to remove her hands- or specifically they were cut off by Tenna given the fact that the Tenna of the personalized AU works as an enforcer in a way among other things. She wears oversized sleeves to hide her lack of hands.Despite deep down feeling intense violent urges still, she is whole-heartedly devoted to the church due to the Angel's praise of how she handled her punishment for what she did. Rose swore herself not to be violent after the loss of her hands, thanks to the aid of the Angel, and believes she has a chance at redemption.Even then, she has a risk of relapse when sheh sees Red or is constantly pestered. The Angel does her best to keep Red and Rose apart for this reason.She aids with enforcement of the no violence rule within the church's walls, usually attempting to find solutions for things that could tone down issues as they arise.Despite her loyalty to the church and wish for redemption, her sanity is incredibly low and her smiles are quite frankly always forced or unnerving to look at. She never opens her eyes, it
seems, but can see just fine.
